Miller specializes in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law – particularly in client advisement, as well as prosecuting and licensing copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets; Real Estate Law; Business formation and protection, and both Civil and Federal Litigation.

Ms. Miller graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey in 2010.  After graduating and passing the bar exams for both New Jersey and New York that same year, Ms. Miller joined the team at The PLK Law Group from 2010-2012 where she gained substantial practice experience focusing on intellectual property, contract drafting, civil litigation and brand development. With a professional background in public relations, Ms. Miller championed the firm’s social media presence as well as created brand development strategies and executed brand packaging.

Since 2012, Ms. Miller has been running her own practice where she also handles Landlord/Tenant litigation and Real Estate representation from contract to closing, including Short Sales, HUDs, contract review, inspection, survey, and title review. She also focuses on reviewing confidentiality agreements, privacy agreements, non-competes, work-for-hire documentation, and more for artists, businesses and entrepreneurs.

Ms. Miller has experience registering, prosecuting and upholding client intellectual property, as well as working on appeals, and oppositions/cancellations. She has both corporate and IP transactional experience with employment agreements, NDAs, licenses, shareholder amendments, stock purchase agreements, management deals, and many more.  In federal trademark litigation (both District of New Jersey and Southern District of New York), she has worked on complex matters and drafted complaints, answers, and various pleadings, including preliminary injunctions, motions to strike, motions to dismiss, motions to transfer, and TROs.

As a member of the Rutgers Law School Juvenile Justice Clinic, during law school Ms. Miller represented juvenile offenders in Superior Court. She also worked with the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project for two years as both a Fellow, teaching constitutional law for two separate classes at Camden High School, and as a teaching assistant. While still in law school, Ms. Miller worked with an IP/business law office in Philadelphia at Reavis and Associates [] for about a year and fostered her passion for practicing law. Before attending Rutgers Law School, Ms. Miller studied Physics and English at Rutgers University form 2000-2003 and obtained a Communications Bachelor of Arts from Kean University in 2007.
